This research examines themultifaceted dimensions of effective leadership examining its impact acrossperformance in diverse organisational context. Theempirical review is underpinned by the following theories: transformationalleadership theory and goal path theory. The research is a comprehensiveanalysis of various articles, the research reviews what forms of leadership andsituational factors contribute to effective performance. The synthesis ofempirical studies reveals and emphasises thedynamic interplay between leaders and followers and the organisationalenvironment. The paper articulates the power of vision, emotional intelligenceand communication skills in transformational leadership. It demonstrates thattransformational leadership is one of the most effective leadership stylescontributing to performance across different industries. The findingsunderscore the need for leaders to cultivate a diverse skill set andadapt their approach to meet the evolving demands of today’s work environment. The empirical review isunderpinned by the following theories: transformational leadershiptheory and goal path theory.
